- Gather data requirements and formulate into database deliverables
- Deliver high quality database components to support new functionality
- Expected to participate in the implementation and improvement of database team procedures and standards
- Support and contribute to database build/release lifecycle processes
- Offer SQL review/tuning expertise to non-database development teams
- Stay on top of and implement advanced database features and capabilities where it makes sense
- A minimum of 2 years database development experience working with Oracle RDBMS v11+
- Proven development experience in Oracle APEX and related web development toolset, HTML/CSS/JavaScript
- An awareness of other NO SQL database technologies
- Experience in the tools and technologies surrounding databases, Unix Scripting, Python
- Experience in troubleshooting data quality issues
- A desire to continuously learn and share knowledge with other

UK&I Technology
Ground-breaking projects. Innovative tech. Top innovation. Join our UK&I Technology team and you’ll work across technology projects that drive our TV, broadband, mobile and Sky Connect services. You’ll be at the heart of delivering the technology roadmaps that support our UK and Ireland businesses, with a focus on customer innovations for Sky Glass. That’s not all. You’ll also design, develop and deliver digital services for millions of customers across the UK.
